One day while browsing in my local healthfood and natural remedy store, I saw a display for Arnica Cream from Boiron. The product happened to be on sale, so I took a closer look. I am a huge fan of homeopathy, so I decided to give this product a try.
Boiron is a French company that makes high-quality, safe, and effective homeopathics. Arnica Cream contains Arnica montana 1X HPUS-7% to be used for relief of muscle aches and stiffness due to minor injuries, and pain, swelling and discoloration reduction from bruises. You use this stuff as soon after the injury occurs as you can for maximum efficacy.
The first time I used it, the first thing I noticed was the scent. I didn’t expect it, but it has a medicinal scent that is unpleasant. Luckily, it does not last long once applied. I tried it first on a bruise on my leg. I rubbed in a small amount (you really don’t need much). The product advertises a non-greasy texture. It seemed to rub in well, but it did leave a some-what greasy after-feel. I really didn’t notice a difference. However, I didn’t use it right after the bruise occurred.
The second use proved to be well worth buying the product. I burned my wrist while baking one day. I was taking something out of the oven and my arm touched the oven. It wasn’t horrible, but it did hurt. I tried the cold water thing, but it still hurt, then I remembered the cream. I went and immediatly put Arnica Cream on the burn (within 5 minutes of the burn, I had the cream on) and didn’t do anything else to it. I was amazed at how quickly the pain went away, literally within a few minutes. I reapplied the cream a few hours later, even though it didn’t hurt. The next day, there was just a slight red mark. The pain had gone away fast and never came back. Just a slight burn is most unpleasant, so finding something that takes care of it is awesome!

Just remember the key; use it as soon as you can after the injury occurs for maximum benefits.
