I love trying new things and body washes are my favorite thing to try. There are so many on the market right now that anyone can have fun just trying them and never repeat a scent. One of the body washes I have tried in recent months is the Avon Skin So Soft Fusions Light & Lush Dual Softening Body Wash.

This is sold through an Avon Rep, the online Avon Store and an Avon store in your town. I have like the Skin So Soft products, but quit purchasing them because they did leave a greasy film behind and I didn’t care for the scent of the regular SSS. Now, they have quite a few scents to choose from and have tamed the greasy feel that is left behind on your skin and in the tub. With all the oil left behind, in the tub, that made for a slippery situation and a hard mess to clean.

The Avon Skin So Soft Fusions Light & Lush Dual Softening Body Wash is different, it doesn’t leave an oily film behind so cleaning the tub and rinsing yourself, has become a lot easier and you don’t smell like bug spray when finished bathing.

Avon states that the Avon Skin So Soft Fusions Light & Lush Dual Softening Body Wash Goes beyond surface softness to provide 24-hour moisturization from within. I’m not sure of how this moisturizes from within when you are applying it to the outside.

I had to give this a try just to find out if it is as good as Avon says it is. This scent comes in a yellow squeeze tube with a yellow cap. The body wash can stand on its end in the shower. That helps keep the wash where its supposed to be and you don’t have to go beating it trying to get the last little bit out. The cap is a flip cap, you can just use your thumb and open and flip it closed. Just make sure that you hear a snap when closing our you might find that it has run out around the cap.

The scent of the Avon Skin So Soft Fusions Light & Lush Dual Softening Body Wash is a wonderful citrus scent. It is a refreshing scent, smells almost like oranges, sad to say that it doesn’t last long if you don’t follow up with the moisturizer in this line. This is supposed to moisturize and exfoliate at the same time. I didn’t find that it did all that well.

You squeeze a little of the Avon Skin So Soft Fusions Light & Lush Dual Softening Body Wash on your pouf, sponge or cloth, whichever item you prefer to bathe with, and work it into a lather. The lather is nice, but it isn’t thick. Once you have finished your bath or shower, rinse. You will notice that there isn’t an oily residue left on your skin. You skin will feel nice, but if you have seriously dry skin, you will need to follow with a moisturizer because the Avon Skin So Soft Fusions Light & Lush Dual Softening Body Wash doesn’t leave a lot of that behind.

After going through a couple of tubes of the Avon Skin So Soft Fusions Light & Lush Dual Softening Body Wash I find that it doesn’t irritate the skin or cause any breakouts. It doesn’t dry the skin, but it isn’t very moisturizing to dry skin either.

The Avon Skin So Soft Fusions Light & Lush Dual Softening Body Wash is a good, cheap product that comes in a 6.7 ounce tube. The body wash doesn’t last a month with regular use so you will have to have several on hand if this is the body wash you intend on using. It also goes on sale a couple of times a year so that gives you the opportunity to stock up.

This is an OK product from Avon. I don’t recommend it to those that have overly dry skin.
