Bath & Body Works Temptations Banana Smoothie 3 In 1 Body Wash, Bubble Bath & Shampoo

I am so not a banana person. While every now and again, my body tells me I need more potassium and I have half a banana, usually bananas make me gag. I’m not sure if it’s the texture or the flavor or the scent but I’m not a big fan. I’m so not enamored with them that when my husband brought me home a Strawnana smoothie from Robeks, I told him to finish it because it just has too much banana for me.

However, fake bananas are another matter. Those little yellow Runt candies or Laffy Taffy slabs or Now and Later chunks or Life Savers or Jelly Belly beans, well, those I like. They don’t have the sliminess of a real banana, just pure unadulterated chemicals. Gotta love ‘em.

If you love chemicals as much as I do (and you should), then try to find some Bath & Body Works Temptations Banana Smoothie. It smells just like those fake banana candy products with a generous hint of strawberry. It’s sugary sweet pearlescent not too think and not too thick yellow liquid in a push top bottle.

As with other 3-in-1 products, they usually work best as body washes. You get a quick lather without even trying that doesn’t leave a nasty film behind. It rinses clean and leaves you squeaky (but not too much so). Forget the moisturizing but that’s what you buy body butter and body lotion for. The scent sticks around for a little while after your shower but is by no means overpowering.

Supposedly, you can also use Banana Smoothie as a shampoo and as a bubble bath. That’s if you like dried out, matted and tangled hair like straw or if you want to use more than half a bottle to get enough suds. They suggest 2-3 capfuls but let’s not kid ourselves. Plus, those bubble quickly pop, pop, pop leaving you with a tub of dingy water and no scent!

Banana Smoothie was a limited edition product so you probably won’t see this in stores unless for some twisted reason Bath & Body Works decides to reintroduce this scent. If you see a forgotten bottle on clearance or see some on eBay, this is one of the better ones to grab.
