Bath & Body Works Temptations Pomegranate Martini 3 In 1 Body Wash, Bubble Bath & Shampoo

One of the loveliest things about dry, desert environments is that you can grow pomegranates in your backyard. My fabulous mother-in-law has a pomegranate “shrub” behind the pool, next to the waterfall that is simply laden with fruit waiting to ripen and be devoured. Simply cut off the crown, score the rind, soak in water, remove the rind and drain the seeds. Or, you could cut the fruit in half and extract the juice using a citrus juicer. Speaking of citrus, have you ever had grapefruit or oranges that have been soaked in pomegranate juice? It’s wonderful!

Usually, I’m too lazy for all of that. While the scent and the taste are great, pomegranates are a lot of work. Bath & Body Works Temptations Pomegranate Martini takes the work out of pomegranate marinated citrus. It smells just like grapefruit and pomegranate juice. Not chemicals - fruit.

The product is a light pink pearlescent not too thick and not too thin liquid in a push top bottle. It’s meant to be used as a shampoo, body wash and a bubble bath - hence, the 3-in-1 designation.

As with other 3-in-1 products, Pomegranate Martini usually works best as a body wash. You get a quick lather without even trying that doesn’t leave a nasty film behind. It rinses cleanly but is not moisturizing. The scent for this one doesn’t linger long past the shower but it’s nice while it lasts.

You can also use Pomegranate Martini as a shampoo and as a bubble bath. I say this with the caveat that you can also do so in the case of an emergency, such as four days without washing your hair. These products make my hair a dried out, matted and tangled mess. As far as bubble bath goes, I see no reason to waste half a bottle of product to get suds when I have enough stash of LUSH bubble bars to last for at least six more months. The manufacturer suggests 2-3 capfuls but let’s not kid ourselves. Plus, those bubble quickly dissipate and do not leave a scent lingering in the air.

Pomegranate Martini was a limited edition product so you probably won’t see this in stores unless Bath & Body Works decides to reintroduce this scent. If you see a forgotten bottle on clearance or see some on eBay, this is one of the better ones to grab.
