A long time ago, I promised myself that I would never ever own a pair of crocs! I think they are ugly, over-priced, and well, mostly just ugly! However…a few months ago, I went to Washington DC with my eight grade students as a chaperone. I was told there would be LOTS of walking and to bring comfortable shoes. Now, I’m not a tennis shoe kind of girl, so I wanted something that was comfortable to walk long distances in and also cute. I found these at Dick’s sporting Goods and decided to give them a try.

I love the color! I have the silver pair, but most of the colors in this style are really cute! They really look like trendy ballet flats and not like crocs. There’s no big croc button on them, just a subtle logo on the side.

Let’s talk about comfort. I’m going to guess that I walked over ten miles in these shoes in 4 days and really my only complaint is the lack of arch support. My arches were a little sore at the end, but I didn’t have ANY blisters! They do make your feet sweat too, but they didn’t make mine smell.

I think they are a bit pricey, but you’re paying for them name. The alternative for me would have been a cute pair of Puma flats, and those were twice as much, so I feel like I got a deal! They are extremely durable, mine still barely show any wear. I love how easy they are to clean! Just rinse them off with soap and water and good as new!
