My hair is a mass of curls. Curly hair is naturally drier. I have often been revolted by my hair because sometimes it feels like brittle straw. Someone even told me once that my hair felt like the bristles of a broom!
I will admit I add to the dryness of my hair. I blow dry and straighten my hair. My hair has been through a lot of damage. Being summer, my friends and I decided to hit the pool. When I got home that day my hair felt disgusting. I needed help and I needed help quick.
We went to the store and I looked in the hair care aisle. I had just ran out of shampoo and conditioner so I was on the lookout for something new. I looked at the fructis selection. I had used it before and wasn’t too impressed. But I noticed they had a sleek and shine selection and for some reason it caught my eye. Because we were in a hurry, I grabbed both shampoo and conditioner and purchased them.
Washing my hair was like being in a garden. The scent was amazing! I probably could have stayed in the shower had I not gone to class. The conditioner was what did the most repair work. I’m am not lying when I say that I instantly felt the softness in my hair. It was almost as my hair felt like butter. I could run my fingers through my hair and they wouldn’t get stuck in the curls! This was a first for me! But I thought it was just because I was in the shower and naturally, wet hair is easier to comb through. However, I’ve tried combing through my hair with my fingers before in the shower and had always ended up losing clumps of hair because of how tangled my hair was.
When I got out, I was sure that as my hair dried it would return to its naturally dry state. I towel dried my hair and decided that that day I would go curly. Again, I was able to comb through my hair easily. It wasn’t dry, but it wasn’t soaking wet as it was in the shower. This amazed me and it still felt like butter.
I put product in my hair and let it naturally dry. I was sure that as soon as it was completely dry, it would feel gross again. But as the day went on, I would constantly feel my hair and it felt normal! It felt soft to the touch. This was a first for me. I was utterly amazed!
My hair was also shinier. I have nearly black hair and of course it has a shine, but this shine was more vibrant. I could definitely feel the sleekness. Truly this conditioner was for dry and damaged hair.
I have used it for over 2 weeks and still my hair is amazingly soft! I have even blown dried my hair and straightened and it felt just as buttery. I have noticed a dramatic improvement in my hair. It just feels healthier. You have no idea how much this was a surprise to me! How long have I gone with dry, brittle hair?!
I am now a permanent fan of Fructis Sleek and Shine Hair Conditioner. Never before had I used hair products that really worked. The best part was that it wasn’t ridiculously expensive like those products you buy at the salon. This was something reasonable that I could buy from any regular store.
I definitely recommend it to anyone whose hair is in need of some moisture. For all those who suffer from severe hair breakage, need to buy this conditioner!
