I have had quite an obsession with all things LUSH for well over a year now. My stash is ever growing as I am constantly trying new things that they release or stocking up on old favorites. Several months ago LUSH released their solid perfume line and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a few of them. Fortunately I was able to snag a couple including the American Cream Solid Perfume.

Cost & Location

I purchased my .35 OZ LUSH American Cream Solid Perfume from lush.com for around $11. It has since gone up in price (darned price increases!!) and will now run you $12.35. You can purchase this at any LUSH store as well.

A Solid Perfume??

Yes, you read it right, a solid perfume! I know that there are other solid perfumes out there, but, LUSH has a knack for making their products unique and this is no different. First, the little tin that the solid perfume comes in is recycled! I love how LUSH thinks green, even when creating their packaging! Each solid perfume has a Japan Wax base and almost entirely natural ingredients found in nature (or derivatives of those).

American Cream Solid Perfume contains Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Jojoba Oil, Vanilla Absolut, Clary Sage Oil and even Lavender Oil. This wonderful and unique combination of ingredients leaves skin feeling not only soft but smelling absolutely delicious!

LUSH has it’s classic scents and American Cream is one of them. Touted as smelling like a sweet strawberry milkshake, the mixture of Vanilla, Clary Sage and Lavender is not only sweet but comforting. My nose doesn’t necessarily pick up the scent of a strawberry milkshake, but, the scent is one of my favorites nonetheless. I can’t describe the scent any better than saying it’s a warm, sweet and wonderful scent that I love smelling.

Using a LUSH Solid Perfume is easy - you simply scrape a small little bit out and apply it where desired! The wonderful thing about LUSH American Cream Solid Perfume is that the scent is incredibly long lasting. When I first opened the tin I was shocked by how strong the scent was. I was even more surprised by the fact that I only had to reapply once throughout my day!

Since it takes very little of this solid perfume to scent my skin, this tin has lasted several months and I still have tons left! Talk about a bargain! I love the petite size, it travels easily in my purse or even my pocket!

Overall

I highly recommend LUSH American Cream Solid Perfume. This unique scent has staying power and the solid form lasts forever!! A definite LUSH must have!
