I don’t normally like doing negative reviews, but every so often it is necessary. I purchased a package of these razors by Noxzema, out of the realm of what I normally buy (Venus)and I was sorry! It was on sale, I suppose, so that is what tempted me. Never again! Okay, I find that BIC razors are one of the worst out there, and I get sliced up when using those. I think my mom would buy me BIC as a kid because they were inexpensive. But as an adult, I stick to the higher-quality brands despite the price tag and I am usually very happy.

Okay, I had to throw each and every one of these razors out. I ran out of my usual brand and opened up the package to use these on my legs. I noticed that the blades were already on the dull side and very uneven. If anyone shaves, we know what uneven and low-quality blades do…they cut or they cause bumps on the skin. Well I ended up with a lot of dry bumps and some cuts on my legs. I threw it out after the first use thinking that it was just that particular razor. Disposable razors should have at least 3 uses in them (2 legs times 3x on average). But this felt like it had zero uses left out of the package. I noticed that they felt cheap like when I handled them, they were ready to snap in half. There was no angle that I could get that felt “right” with these. And the blades clogged up easily.

So I went on to use the last two razors in the package for later. Again, I threw them out after one use. I noticed razor bumps after my shower. In fact I have some razor bumps on my knees now that have not gone away in 2 weeks and I have to put anti-bacterial ointment on them to make them go away! I am terribly disappointed in them and I wouldn’t want anyone to go through what I went through or to hurt themselves. I definitely would not recommend to a person starting out on shaving such as a teenager. My suggestion would be to invest in some higher-qualty brands like Venus.

You can find these packs of 3 for around $6 on Amazon.com or your local drugstore. They run about 2$ less than the average package of 3 razors and trust me, you get what you pay for on this brand. To me, it makes sense because this brand started out with facial cleansing products, so it doesn’t specialize in razors. I will now on buy from companies that specialize in razors! Personally, I won’t buy again because I don’t want razor bumps, burns and cuts. It takes my skin a few weeks to heal from incidents like that and I’m an expert shaver. I would not recommend for men as well, I couldn’t imagine using something so dull on my face! I wish I could but I cannot say one good thing about these razors.
