What they say:

Urban Decay Deluxe Shadows come in cute little snap closure plastic containers- each is different for every color- and they weigh in at .09 oz each. They come in a dozen different colors with a nice variety with something for everyone and these will cost you $18 a pop- which is rather pricey but average for high-end. They are also available in a palette called the Deluxe Shadow Box which has 9 different shadows each measuring .03 oz and runs for $36 and comes with a mini primer potion.
The shades are:
Adore (electric blue)
Fishnet (iridescent purple)
Graffiti (bright green)
Heat (fiery orange-red)
Honey (glistening gold)
Peace (shimmering turquoise)
Ransom (vibrant iridescent purple)
Scratch (shimmering silver pink)
Shag (tan shimmer)
Sting (hot pink)
Zero (smoking black)
Underground (taupe brown shimmer)
If you are familiar with Urban Decay you will probably know they usually have alot of glitter thrown in their products- you won’t find that in these. These shadows are all shimmery but no chunky glitter to get all over your face. The shadows are silky and apply beautifully. They are easy to blend and they wear well for about 8 hours on me without Urban Decay Primer Potion (which I do recommend). I don’t typically have any creasing issues however so take this into consideration. The packaging is adorable, inspired by graffiti. However if you drop the packagings top will pop off and it isn’t very great for protecting the precious expensive shadow it holds. I have dropped them several times and have gotten a few chips due to this. These can also be used wet for more intensity or dry for softer results like all of Urban Decays shadows.
I first purchased the palette and have since started to branch into single shadows. I highly recommend the palette if there are a couple shadows you would like to try- the shadows are smaller but they will last you a long time.
The shadows I have tried and my own descriptions (when speaking of how shadows look on me I am very pale neutral skintone, brown eyes):
*Fishnet- I would call this iridescent pink/purple with a slight blue undertone. I don’t use this too much because it is a little more sheer than the rest of the shadows and it’s one of those pinks that make you look like you have an eye infection. This may just be me- I have seen it look amazing on others but it’s not a favorite.
*Honey- I typically do not look very good in gold but I find this color is great for me. The gold is a little darker than most and more of a true gold than yellow or orange. (example- http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2404/2513781983_2622250813.jpg used on lid)
*Ransom- This color I am kind of disappointed in. First off the color isn’t all that vibrant- more dull than anything. Also the color seems to need layered before it is anywhere near vibrant- I don’t recommend picking this one up.
*Graffiti- Gorgeous bright vibrant green. I would describe it almost like the color of fake grass. One of my favorites.
*Zero- Smokey black with minimal silver shimmer. Perfect for smoky eyes especially with how nice, smooth and blendable it is. I typically don’t use black shadow all that much but when I do this is the one I reach for.
*Peace- Bright medium blue. One of my staple blues that I use all the time. I always get compliments on it. This is one of my favorites and I use it all the time. (Example: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3125/2552587851_3546fdf8f5_b.jpg peace used on lid)
*Shag- Nice copper. I’m not very into neutrals but this is a toned down copper- not to harsh but not too neutral. Worth checking out if you use brown tones but they wash me out so I steer away from them.
*Scratch- They describe this as silver pink but it’s more of a brownish pink. Upon first glance you would think it was a brown but when used it sure is pink. Once again- if you steer more for neutrals and browns this is a great color.
*Heat- This is my first individual shadow I have purchased from this line. This is red. I wasn’t quite sure I would use it very often but I actually use it all the time. Red is such a difficult color to get right- this is the perfect tone. A little pink and a little orange- not too harsh. You have to see it to get what I mean but it is soft and adjustable. I have used it with every color combination and always get compliments on it. A very original color I have never seen anything similar to. All in all I recommend these shadows if you are looking for a nice bright collection that is different from most high end lines.
