Being a girl with very heavy, non-natural curly hair, the Conair Ceramic 2 n 1 Straightener & curling Iron is a very good product that I have relied on for a while.

SETTINGS

The settings feature is a very good feature in my opinion. I have long hair that doesn’t want to be curly or straight so every day i have to have one or the other. With the settings feature i can set it to the highest temperature for tight curls or lower for a lighter curl.

STRAIGHTENS AND CURLS

This is an awesome thing for me because if you are like me i like to do my hair curly some days and straight the others so it saves you money by putting them all in one. You don’t need two cords and two things taking up space that you probably don’t have. They are conveniently together as one.

SIZE

The size of the straightener is fine size for me, however i don’t like the size of the curling iron. My hair is heavier like i said before so when i do try to curl my hair and if i put it on the lower setting the barrel is so big that it doesn’t do much to my hair so I mostly have to put it on the highest setting.

CERAMIC

I love that this is a ceramic tool. It is healthy for my hair it doesn’t get that buildup from the hairspray that sticks to your hair. That to me is one of the most important things in a curling iron, when the hairspray sticks then it makes your hair stick to that and then it just pulls your hair out and makes it not a smooth curl.

AUTO SHUT OFF

Some people may like this feature but it is not something that i like. It does have this but its still a very good curling iron/straightener. I don’t especially like this because it usually takes me a lot longer then a half hour to do my hair and i go back and forth between hair and make-up and getting dressed and all that. When I go back to do a touch up or when I am curling my hair and it just wont curl then i get very frustrated at either my hair or the curling iron, thinking that the dumb thing wont curl or my dumb hair just won’t go the way i want to. Then I discover that it is just turned off, so it is a very good safety feature for some people but for me I don’t especially like it.
